Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) protects Nexivo customers, our infrastructure and the wider internet. It applies to all use of Nexivo VPN accounts, WireGuard profiles, servers, business services and related systems.
You are responsible for activity performed using credentials, profiles or devices under your control.
Lawful use only
You must comply with applicable law and must not use Nexivo to facilitate, conceal or assist unlawful conduct. A VPN changes how traffic is routed; it does not create a right to perform activity that would otherwise be prohibited.
Network and security abuse
You must not use Nexivo to:
- Gain or attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, networks or data.
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks, deliberate service disruption or abusive traffic flooding.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, botnets, credential stealers or other malicious code.
- Perform malicious scanning, exploitation, password attacks or vulnerability probing without proper authorisation.
- Spoof identities or network information for fraud, abuse or evasion of security controls.
- Operate command-and-control infrastructure or knowingly support compromised systems.
Fraud, deception and harmful activity
- Do not use Nexivo for phishing, impersonation, scams, payment fraud or theft.
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, stalk or deliberately harm others.
- Do not distribute material where doing so is unlawful, including unlawful exploitation material or content whose distribution infringes applicable criminal law.
- Do not use Nexivo to evade sanctions, court orders or other binding legal restrictions.
Spam and automated abuse
Unsolicited bulk messaging, abusive automation, mass account creation, spam campaigns and similar behaviour that causes complaints, blacklisting or harm to Nexivo infrastructure are prohibited.
Intellectual property
You must respect copyright and other intellectual-property rights. Nexivo may respond to sufficiently detailed and credible infringement notices and may take proportionate action against repeated misuse, subject to applicable law.
Service resources and resale
Do not deliberately consume excessive shared resources, interfere with other customers, bypass technical limits or attempt to obtain service beyond your plan. You may not resell, sublicense or provide public access to Nexivo VPN credentials or infrastructure unless your plan or a written agreement expressly permits it.
Abuse reports and investigation
We may investigate credible abuse reports and security events. This can include reviewing relevant account, operational, connection and security records available to us, contacting the account holder, rotating credentials, limiting access or preserving information where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Abuse reports may be sent to support@nexivovpn.com. Reports should include enough detail for us to identify the relevant activity.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and urgency, Nexivo may warn a user, restrict a profile, suspend a VPN service, revoke credentials, block abusive traffic or terminate an account. Serious security threats or clearly unlawful activity may require immediate action without prior notice.
Where appropriate, we will use proportionate measures and consider whether an issue can be resolved before permanent termination.
Business customers
Business administrators are responsible for ensuring authorised users understand and comply with this AUP. If a business account is compromised or a user leaves the organisation, administrators should promptly revoke or rotate affected VPN profiles.
Questions and updates
Questions about permitted use can be sent to support@nexivovpn.com. We may update this AUP to address new threats, legal requirements or service capabilities; the current version will remain published here.
